Sunday Special Retro Dance Eclectic at Fulton Park

Retro Dance Eclectic: Music from the 70s, 80s & 90s: This Sunday we’ll bring a special retro flavor to our usual Dance Eclectic mix.
The first set, a little over an hour long, will be songs selected by ling-time Eclectic dancer, Mark Burton, who will share some of his personal favorites from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Mark’s set will include waltz, swing, and groove selections, with a stronger flavor of funk &disco than we usually feature
After Mark’s opening set, Dennis will continue the retro theme while weaving the music back into our regular Dance Eclectic flow. The remainder of the afternoon will include many familiar and broadly loved songs from the 70s through the 90s,
The dance will have a retro feeling with the music that many of us grew up with, or carried with us through important years of our lives. But it will still be very much Dance Eclectic: varied, partner-dance friendly, and welcoming to waltz, swing, two-step, blues, Latin, nightclub, and contemporary eclectic dancing
