	Intermediate Argentine Tango: Musicality & Expression — 6-Week Series This 6-week intermediate series is dedicated to one of the most important and rewarding aspects of Argentine Tango: musicality. Together, we will explore how tango music shapes movement, connection, emotion, and improvisation on the dance floor. Students will learn how to recognize and embody the unique character of different tango orchestras while developing the ability to communicate musical ideas clearly with a partner. We’ll focus on creating a shared musical conversation that produces dynamic, expressive, and synergistic movement. Topics throughout the series include: Interpreting rhythm, melody, phrasing, and dynamics Expressing musicality through timing, pauses, texture, and energy Developing partner communication and shared musical intention Adapting movement quality to different styles of tango music - Starts May 26 2026 - $90 for the full course, or $20 per class drop-in
